The TMS Band Concert was awesome tonight! We had music performed by the 6th grade band, 7th grade band, 8th grade band, a combined performance by all three bands, and an excellent performance by the TMS jazz band! Tallmadge MS

Congratulations to these outstanding musicians and their directors, Joe Kuhlman and Ms. Stover! Seeing this huge group playing all together had me in tears. It was truly a beautiful thing!

Congrats to Senior Gwen Beattie, who participated in Tuba Christmas at EJ Thomas Hall on December 23. Not only was she one of a huge ensemble of all sorts of low brass, she got to play a rare and historic double-belled euphonium, one of only 12 known to exist. Nice job, Gwen!

Tonight’s a busy night at THS. In addition to the TMS band concert, there is a large invitational track meet taking place at Bagnoli Stadium. Band parents: please note that the Teacher lot at THS is specifically reserved for concert attendees.

Last day for seniors…

Next Thursday, May 23 at 6pm is the official Kick Off meeting of the Tallmadge Marching Band’s 2024 season. Students will play through music for the season while parents meet with Band Booster Leaders, then we’ll come together at 6:30pm to go over calendar, policies, and news.

Congratulations to Tallmadge Grads Camdynn, Maia, and Gwen on their acceptance into the Ohio University Marching 110! We can’t wait to see you next fall in The Most Exciting Band in the Land!
