Today Kaushik Jayaram gave a fantastic talk titled "Shape morphing insect-scale origami robots for locomotion in cluttered terrain". Check out the cool work in his lab such as the Compliant Legged Autonomous Robotic Insect (CLARI): youtube.com/watch?v=5aoLZ3…

This is the Airbnb place I stayed during my visit to Caltech and JPL. The host was very nice and the place was located in a beautiful mountain range in Eaton. Please help if possible: gofund.me/ed306e18

Shooting capsules of compressed tiny ice pallets would give us longer range to fight wildfires than squirting water from hoses which is designed for more short range firefighting. Just a thought this morning and a rough hand sketch for any subject experts to take.

It was a very interesting panel discussion on Soft Robotics for Space at #ICRA2025 with Cecilia Laschi, Allison Okamura, Jonathan Rogers, and Neal Lii. The consensus was to focus on structural autonomy to respond to complex contexts than a material softness. #NASA #JPL #ESA #ISRO
