Many Thomson dancers are practicing for our annual, So You Think You Can Jig? Competition. Community and families are welcome to come to Thomson 1-2 on Friday November 15th to cheer on the young dancers as they show off their Metis fancy footwork.

Louis Riel Day is on November 16, marking the anniversary of Riel’s execution in 1885 in Regina. The first president of the Métis Nation, Riel led Métis people in the Red River Resistance and the Northwest Resistance. Read more here: reginapublicschools.ca/louis_riel_day

Today we held our 2nd Annual “So You Think You Can Jig” event. It’s was a fabulous success thanks to Ms. Kimbley! Thank you to the many families that came to cheer their children on, our great MC (Jeff Cappo) and our panel of judges! 🧡

What a fun assembly! This afternoon our Tigers enjoyed a show from JJ Guy, Gordon Stobbe and Toby Mccgillvray. The students and staff loved it from start to finish!
