End of First Set: Thompson Volleyball 1, Oak Mountain 0. (25-16) Thompson grabbed hold of the momentum after an even early stretch and rarely let up. It took three set points to get it done though, but Brielle Meriweather secured the kill to give the Warriors the lead.

🏐 Final: Thompson Volleyball 3, Oak Mountain 0. (25-16, 25-16, 25-23) (Class 7A, Area 6 Semifinals) The Warriors survive a wild third set with a Jayla Green kill! Oak Mountain fought hard down the stretch, but Thompson showed the resiliency it's had all season and is on to supers!

🏐 Final: Thompson Volleyball 3, Hoover 1. (23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-20) (Class 7A, Area 6 Finals) The Warriors are area champions! Thompson turns in a gritty performance against its biggest rival to reclaim gold! This team is peaking at the absolute right time.
