Little kids are full of energy and curiosity. They are always eager to learn and explore the world around them. It's amazing to see how quickly they pick up new skills and knowledge. Although they can be a handful at times, their innocence and joy are contagious.

Helping Babies Breathe is incredibly powerful in its ability to teach basic lifesaving skills for the first minutes of a baby's life. The education for birth attendants can dramatically reduce infant mortality rates in the developing world.

Service to humanity has always put a big smile on my face even with the physical and emotional challenges

I decided to join the U.S. military's Service because I wanted to serve my country and make a difference in the world. I also wanted to challenge myself and learn new skills. I'm proud of being a soldier and I don't regret my decision.

We saw, treated and educated over 100 patients in the farming area outside of Mogadishu, Banadir, Somalia, This little girl was one of my favorites. Such kind people full of gratitude.
