It was really nice to be asked by The Yetee @theyetee.com 🟦☁️🦋 to answer some questions on the process behind the #AssemblewithCare soundtrack. I’m a bit of a rambler but 𝕁𝕒𝕔𝕠𝕓 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕤𝕖 got me thinking about synths, 80s soundtracks and how I approached the game.

For Tolan I created a “thinking” sound to help bridge the gap between speaking to your Tolan and your Tolan responding. I wanted it to feel distinct from a Tolan’s speaking voice, but still part of their character — like a soft alien murmur or hum.
