So proud of the team for this amazing product launch!

The team has built 20+ prototypes in ~6 weeks! That's a new prototype every 1.5 workday! It has been so inspiring to see them iterate on these features and abandon some amazing ones when it felt that it wasn't that useful. So proud of the team!

We're working hard to prevent background tabs from using too much system resources but there are a lot of edge cases that are hard to cover. We now have this performance safety net that will freeze resource hungry background tabs when needed!

Freezing background tabs that use too much CPU is just one of the many features that we have added to Arc to make it FAST! And we won't stop!

Having this group of passionate members testing early versions of Arc really helps us raise the bar and ship a more stable Arc to everyone, thanks to all of them!

This week’s release of Arc on Windows includes a complete redesign of the tab switching logic, making it faster and flicker free! It's been a lot of work across multiple technology stacks (Chromium, WinUI, Swift…). I’m really proud of the final result!

Arc is now available on Windows 10! It took a lot of work across many teams to get it ready for release! Big day!
