My classroom is pretty much done now and these thin baskets are my purchase of the year. Big enough to fit everything that 2 pupils will need (glue sticks pending) and small enough to not get in the way.

Mr G I always like using ripped up paper. Write a simple sentence, find the noun, rip it, and add more information. Children can then swap around relative clauses to see which work and which don’t. Great opportunities for discussing how to engage with the reader
