The big deal about the COSMIC desktop is Rust, a replacement for C/C++ designed for better memory security. The trade-off is Rust is harder to work with than C/C++, based on what I've been told. youtube.com/watch?v=MLT5c_…

I'm really liking Manjaro Linux on my little HP mini-PC. My gaming desktop is almost ready for CachyOS. I've been identifying things I need to back up. I might need to get an external 1TB SSD. I've been using SyncThing to transfer some stuff, but I don't want to run out of room.
