Everyone’s obsessed with AI replacing creativity, but half the internet is already posting the same recycled takes, recycled aesthetics, recycled outrage. The real threat to art is our comfort with mediocrity.

Attend summits, make commitments, highlight issues, network and at the end of the day, do nothing substantial. Political and corporate life has highly unnecessary money spending issues. Most of these things can be a virtual meeting, email or even a report.

Rule of thumb, if there’s a 100% risk free, easy way to make money, nobody will try to recruit you or try to convince you to do it. They’ll actually keep it a secret as long as they can

"X makes it feel like everyone's caught on, but in reality the majority of the world has no idea what's happening with AI right now." It’s not even that the world is 'behind', it’s that X is LARPing at max capacity. 90% of the 'AI experts' in your feed haven't actually built or

I've seen so much gen AI, but one thing I haven't seen these "it's the future of cinema" people do is generate a unique, original and engaging video. It's always built on something that exists, just randomly does things that appear "cool" AND has no purpose either than existing.

Cloud infrastructure and infrastructure tech in general will be a highly employable and paid skill for the unforeseeable future. Everything and everyone will need it, no matter the political or economic space we are in.

I've been seeing a lot of cobol tweets and I just saw a cobol job listing near where I live. I don't know if that's a sign or not. 🤔

Personally... outside of mixing and mastering analysis/guidance, I really don't see a need for AI in music tbh (I suck at mixing and mastering because I don't have pro equipment) As a tech nerd, I can admit this looks cool. But as a user of FL studio, I would never use this.

I've been on the internet since 2005, I never needed context about jokes or memes. But maybe it's because the term "Abegistan" is a few weeks/months old but I need to know how the originator came up with it. People use that term like a slur. 😭😭😭💔💔💔

People who keep saying AI is going to replace developers… have they actually worked inside a large enterprise? A LOT of companies don’t even allow developers to install third party packages. I regularly talk to friends working at Fortune 500 companies. Some of them aren’t even

I can’t even deal with how disgusting this is. Multi-billion rand companies like KPMG, CSIR, Investec, Transnet are exploiting desperate graduates by outsourcing free labour through fraudulent government NGOs like SAGDA, YES, you name it that pay stipend of R4k–R6k a month for

As umZulu, this video and the replies correcting him are kinda funny because isiZulu relies so much on context and tone. I don't even know how to respond properly because everyone is both wrong and right to a degree. 😂😭
