People can call me ugly all they want. I was told that as a kid. I have been told so many more fucked up things as a disabled Latina. I am now confident in myself and my self-worth. Some random dude isn’t going to change that.

Love it when I say we need more disabled representation and people jump to that we just want hand outs and pity. Where the hell did I say that?

Not sure where people get that disabled people don’t work hard. In fact, we also have to deal with our medical conditions and the medical system while also keeping up with everyone else.

I am enabled to be useless, I am told. Meanwhile, I have struggled to get my medications, so many things are inaccessible, I have to pace myself to work to avoid pain flares, and doctors don’t take me seriously but okay. I am so enabled!
