#OTD in 2017, Poppyscotland released 46,000 Poppy petals from the Monument to commemorate the end of the Battle of Arras. At precisely 11am on 16th May, the poppies fell with each petal representing a Scottish soldier who lost their life or were wounded during the conflict.
