I have. And for me, it was personal. Something that needed to be said whether they would see it or not. Writing is more than just telling a story. Real emotion can bring real meaning to your work. Both a blessing and a curse.

Every time. Even when I receive great reviews back, I'm always more motivated than ever but then I ask myself "Are they telling me the truth?" Anxiety sucks, but we must learn to get past it!

As a writer, I would never allow, nor accept any amount of money for my books to be made a victim of AI. It's not creative, it's not possible for it to produce new ideas. It learns to regurgitate, end of. It harms every creative in the industry.

It's okay to work on your side characters background and importance in the work as long as it progresses your story! MAKE YOUR SIDE CHARACTERS BE SEEN!

I think the worst thing you can do as a writer is to keep pushing through a burnout. Even if it's a simple writers block, take some time to love yourself more than your work. A lesson I learned a long time ago.

I would rather have more people read my book than to have 'more money' as an independent. It's a hard time being an independent author without help. Having early access to reach can be beneficial in the long run, and you can still return to independent publishing after.

Sometimes you might feel like quiting, but it's important not to. Someone out there needs your book more than anything. Finish it. 💙

What once was.

I know I've been extremely quiet on here. Life has just been busy trying to edit my work, get my downtime, do my caring duties... Its chaotic. Hopefully things will be better soon!
