A1: Hi Everyone! Ursula here. I'm a tech TOSA for PSUSD. What stood out to me this week was how the system has created a ladder of ethnic superiority within the same race, causing individuals to perpetuate racist idea. #coachcuechat

A2: Ethnic racism is all about policies that create an divide between racialized ethnic groups. I've seen others criticize people based on their background but am sad to say, I've never done anything about it. Now I feel that I know how. #coachcuechat

A3: Racist policies are so well hidden and are an abstract thought, IMO. The people in front of us and what others react to is what's real to most. People don't realize they're falling prey to archaic beliefs that are unfounded. #coachcuechat

A4: The msg being served to the masses is fear. This is spread through both policy and media coverage. It begs the question, how do we change the narrative the media is spewing? It's not all bad but it definitely perpetuates the fear narrative. #coachcuechat

Not really an answer to Q5 but so much can be said about how media pushes black on black crime but fails to mention any other type of demographics. I appreciated the insight Kendi provided about the reality of crime regardless of race. #coachcuechat

A1: Hi everyone! Ursula Fabiano, tech TOSA in Palm Springs. This weeks take away was all about the idea of spaces and how white society has expected other races to conform to their space and not allow for races to have their own space.

A2: The first step is to help people identify racist thoughts & ideas. Listening to some of the speakers at the RNC say that there isn't racism in America was infuriating! Once identified then we can lead them on the right path to antiracism #coachcuechat

A3: Everyone should have equal access to basic rights.The right to vote belongs to everyone. Stopping these votes stomps out the voice of the communities that need it the most. We must advocate for them by putting the word out and putting in the work. #coachcuechat

A4: I would define it as basic human decency. #coachcuechat

A5: I agree. People can talk a good game but one's true nature is shown through actions not just words. #coachcuechat
