Before the demolition of the cottages at #EastonBavents and #TheEasternmostHouse Juliet Stibbe  I found this map from 1883; the cottages to be no more are adjacent to the dotted line. Who remembers those to the right already "gone down into the sea"?

And here is a map frp, 1903 showing the old hospital at #EastonBavents as well as the cottages to be demolished including #TheEasternmostHouse Juliet Stibbe 

I looked at 1911 census for occupants of the #EastonBavents cottages to be demolished including #TheEasternmostHouse Juliet Stibbe . Address isn't precise but numbers + rooms tie up. 2 horsemen and a cowman + their families. An example here.

Horse racing in #Bungay 100 years ago today!

It being half way between #DouglasAdams & my father's birthdays reminds me that my father had a soft spot for Douglas Adams. It was partly due to Adam's singing in the school choir. And also because he had returned me home after I wandered off, as small children are wont to do.
