The final day of the Visit of President General Renato and International Territorial Vice president Laszlo. Another busy day where we visited the Scottish Parliament, met with Angela Constance MSP, visited St Joseph's Services and held Mass in St Patrick's Church Cowgate!

A key supporter & a group we are delighted to collaborate with is the Society of St Vincent de Paul. We welcomed the International General President, Renato Lima del Oliveira to the project to learn about our approach to enable families living with hardships to overcome poverty.

We took a group of students on a visit to City of Glasgow College before they begin an ESOL course this week. We showed them what bus to get on, what stop to get off and had a tour of the college. They are now well prepared to start their student journey. Good luck to all students.

We are blessed to work in partnership with SSVP Scotland conferences and Daughters of Charity who have recently secured many items of furniture for families in need in Govanhill. All the families are extremely grateful for the generous donations🙏

The ESOL class had a fabulous trip to University of Glasgow The students were given the opportunity to meet with staff from the Widening Participation Team and undergraduates to find out what life would be like as a university student. Thanks to all involved for making the trip possible.

Our Glasgow-based charity The Space Govanhill partnered with Glasgow City HSCP's Health Improvement Team to host a session on the importance of cervical and breast screening. All women who attended reported feeling more comfortable and confident to attend screening when invited to do so.
