Spent yesterday in the sun drinking cask in Lancaster. What an underrated scene it is there! Here's an amazing pint of Gan Yam Brew Co. I had in the Merchants, this was swiftly followed by several more before ending up back in Manchester drinking Reef.

It has been a long time since i've actually been sad that a festival was over. What a show, the people were excellent, the breweries were awesome, one of the best weekends i've had. Exhausted now but can't wait for next year!

Homebrewing friends of Manchester on the evening of the 13th at Track alongside The Malt Miller were doing an evening of talks on what’s coming up and is exciting in the home brewing space come along from 6!

Want to just give a big old shoutout to Kirkstall Brewery for putting on one of the best new festivals I’ve been to in a long while. The line up was exceptional the vibes were excellent and the barleywine was flowing!

There’s some wonderful train station pubs in the country but Draughtsman Alehouse for sheer convenience of waiting for the Manchester trains is always one I never miss!

After being nagged by the mighty John Clarke. We’re back. New beers debuting at Stockport Camra Beer Fest!

There are seat belts on the bus I’m on which I thought was a bit odd. 5 mins in with this driver I’m strapped in and praying to all of my gods.

Last night I finally made it to Doncaster Brewery (also to be found on bluesky) and i have to really give a shout out as it is one of the most lovely welcoming places i've been to in a long time. The beer was exceptional and the company even more so. Well worth a special trip if you're ever changing trains!

Coming to the end of a work trip to Newcastle I have to say this city never disappoints, meeting some great breweries and drink some wonderful beers (special shout out to the incredible golden ale from Almasty Brewing Co) The highlights also include seeing the cows at @riggandfurrow

I’ve had a rough couple of months but doing very well at the end of it but getting an ASOS parcel delivered to a brewery that I haven’t worked at for two years has nearly pushed me over the edge 👍

At the age of 31 I have just bought my first car and honestly so chuffed with myself! And before you ask as it’s my first car it is obviously a Corsa.

Leeds friends, parking over night in central is that as terrifying of a financial prospect as it seems? Or is there a relatively cheap option

It’s my birthday so I’ve gone off and headed to a city that I’ve always enjoyed So far Nottingham has been great one of the best pubs scenes in the country and the quality of the local beers is exceptional This is a Black Iris Brewery and is beautiful

Looking forward to heading down the harlequin on Friday for this!
