Today was unexpected. My principal put aside a whole day for us to listen to 1 man talk. We could not fathom what he could spend a whole day talking about. How little we knew. Today I was inspired, comforted, & seen. 👩🏽‍🏫👨🏻‍🏫 = 🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏻‍♂️, who need to put their own wellbeing 1st to thrive.

Today my partner & I teamed up to teach our kids to #ThinkOutsideTheBox. We discussed fixed & #GrowthMindset. We challenged their preconceived notions of who we are as teachers. Lightbulbs went off. We saw growth. Make them think. Challenge them. There are no limits. #FavLesson

#Teachers Emails seem easier, but phone calls make a difference. I called parents to touch base/talk grades. Every call left a smile on my face. They thanked me for caring/teaching their kids, complimented me & the work I do! The small things we do = the greatest #impact.❤️ my 🏫

What can you do in the #library? The real question is what can’t you do!?! 9th graders were introduced to everything our library has to offer from virtual to real life games. Almost 500 books were checked out in 2 days as students found books to fit them! #Reading #teacher

This week was stressful for many #educators. This may seem silly to some but some times it’s the little things that get you through the #chaos. This was beyond needed & appreciated. Now to enjoy the #WeekendVibes
