All these tweets about nurses on the timeline proves one thing. Nurses are the faces of the healthcare. They are the first point of contact in major health care facility. This calls for sanctity of the profession. Let's deal with the imposters before our roles are misunderstood.

Death and some cancers have a mixture of musty.. sweet-foul.. metallic.. ammonia.. amongst others. The smell is very unique… it stays in the air and will stick on your nose and sometimes your scrubs.

This thing out here where pts beg doctors to listen to them.. that sth is wrong..they’re dismissed & told it’s in their head needs to stop. Science + medicine are evolving.. just cos it’s not textbook presentation & someone describes it as a feeling doesn’t make it less real.

I’ve seen this a lot with cancer. Mostly young adults.. their symptoms dismissed as anxiety and too much google. Then boom.. they’re diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer and have less than 6 months. There are other diseases too where symptoms are dismissed. It’s really sad.
