Solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives because they were Black and Brown and poor and so their lives were not thought valuable enough to care about. Solidarity with their survivors who continue to fight for their memories and for justice.

Ian on Kingsway this morning and asked him how he was feeling. "I've been waiting eleven years for this!" he said. In Mr Bates vs The Post Office Bob Rutherford is a composite of Ian and Ron. Ian's middle name is Rutherford. Ian is being sworn in now.

There's an almost party atmosphere in the inquiry room today. Many Subpostmasters are here, including two couples who have flown over from Northern Ireland. There is a lot of affection for Ron and Ian for what they achieved. I wrote up my thoughts on the two of them...
