Cardigan progress update. I can see the vision!

She’s done. First time knitting lace panels and crochet bobbles, loving learning new skills. I’m thrilled and I think it looks like something Miss Lemon might wear!

It’s finally here! My first EVER pattern is now out: the Weather Watch Hat! I have loved seeing my test knitters bringing it to life! They’re amazing 🥰 link to pattern in my profile!

I knitted a deer. I kind of love him and I may need to knit a second one to live on my desk.

First outing of the blue cardigan I knitted over December and January. I’m still thrilled with it, and it was warm!

Loving the colour of my latest project. Not quite sure what I’d call it. Maybe Paprika? Or rust?

Yesterday we launched a new first floor experience in the mansion. Extremely proud of the team for all their hard work over the last 18 months. Also very proud of my hair for behaving all day.

Richard requested the Battenberg cake from his childhood memories for his birthday cake. Never baked one before but thrilled with this!

I still need to weave the ends in, but my smoked paprika dream is finished. It took just over a month and I’m thrilled.

I know I’m obsessed with this jumper but it’s probably the best fitting thing I’ve ever knitted! Really pleased.

I’ve not posted much recently as I’ve been having a tough time with my brain. But I’ve been quietly working on some crochet, creating all the elements for a springtime wreath. Everything is blocking ready for assembling.

One completed springtime wreath. Everything is crocheted. R asked for a seagull when I’d done the nest, purely because it made him laugh. There’s also some eggs in the nest.

Every year I run a little competition for my colleagues, to guess how many lambs will be born in the estate where I work. The prize is always one of my hand-knits, and this is the 2025 prize. Bonus lamb photo!

My Fair Isle socks are finished, with their sneaky secret - they have a starburst Fair Isle heel! The colour combo reminds me of Red Hot Poker flowers. What do you think?
