OF COURSE after I worked two days and two nights in the hot and sunny weather it’s cloudy and windy for my first rest day 😡 Mostly good shifts. Apart from being abused by a patient who did the same to multiple crews over several days. Then worrying I’d get sent to them again.

On an auto Fiat, got a good crewmate, have already done some paramedic stuff and the ED isn’t queuing. Could be a good shift!

Police locally have stopped waving at Ambulances 😕 Don’t even wave back when we wave either.

Don’t panic. But I’m in an Ambulance. 😱

My Trust maintains that if frontline crews shortened on scene times by 7 minutes response times would improve. I’ve spent half my shift sitting outside ED being used as an overflow cubicle. I reckon that might be an organisational issue worth sorting before hammering crews.
