Kevin Wozniak I moved here about 17mos ago. Seeing eagles fly over my house is not uncommon, but it's often when I'm working in the garden & have left my camera in the house.

Heather โฟ๐ท There are several nests in the area. The most prominent one is on 111 near Horseshoe Lake State Park. In recent days, one of the eagles has been sitting on the nest, indicating the possibility of an egg or two. That's the easiest one to get to, there are others. It's a hobby
Kevin Wozniak My late mother used to drive me around eastern Missouri & southwestern Illinois to see eagles. A few years ago we saw a big nest in Simpson Park in South St Louis County.

Heather โฟ๐ท This is a new nest by the Melvin Price Lock and Dam in Alton. If you look closely you can see the eagles head. This nest is new this year.
