journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/13… Important paper about autistic people and the menopause. Very good to see this work. So little is known about this topic, and yet there are hundreds of thousands in need of its findings.

Great editorial from Damian Milton & Green on the production of knowledge… with added shout-out to neologistic thinkers who come up with new words to do the heavy lifting.

Dear occasional teachers or care workers who take noise cancelling tech off autistic children '...because in real life, you'll have to cope with noise'.
No.
We don't have to.
I know this is wild, but...we can still use our headphones etc...everywhere else also.
Get a grip.

Can ABA Therapy Affirm Neurodiversity, as a recent paper suggests? The answer is no, writes Max Sparrow Maxfield Sparrow—as ABA therapy cannot affirm neurodiversity without becoming something that is …not ABA therapy. At TPGA:

How many hundreds of thousands of autistic children have been forced to do this stuff, based on no evidence?
What happened to them?
Where are they now?

Why do we keep doing this?
I sense that questionnaire is why. It's about prejudice and making us pay 100% of the price of that

And then, autistic children are forced to stop learning in their own natural & authentic ways, & made to play in ways to please other people.
No-one asks them if this is adding quality of life.
No-one checks for adverse effects.
They are irrelevant, as long as they 'look normal'.

Do you believe that physiotherapists have enough medical knowledge and are qualified to assess the potential danger of restraint holds and their potential to cause death, serious physical, or psychological injury to children?
