What a weekend at The Heisenberg in ABQ. Managed to make top16 on TnT. Lost in semis to FreedomWaffle ➡️ LandGo $10k who went on to win the whole thing. No regrets. I love this stupid game!

Also want to call out and thank Ken Baumann, so glad we finally got to jam a game together! Truly a pleasure and the inspiration that keeps me jamming the decks I want to and enjoy playing.

I'm more disappointed by the declaration of hands off for the rest of the year than I am by the lack of meaningful unbans. I guess we settle into the midrange hell for a good long time.

I think theres two types of draws really right? IDs and Forced Draws. I worry that if we were to change the system.... make them 0 points. You encourage bad play patterns and bad kingmaking. Not sure what everyone else thinks though?

Is the problem with draws the way they draw out rounds? or just the fact that not being able to win is just too feels bad?

I think the best way to make sure draws remain worth a point is to make them worth 0 for a little while.

I solved the draw problem. When you hit 80 minutes everyone has to eat Carolina Reaper peppers until someone wins.

I really hope all the players to the right of me follow the "just win" advice so that I can just win after they finish losing.

I think we tend to see the health of cEDH through the subjective lens of the decks and style of play we most enjoy. It's hard to take a step back and be objective. So many of us are emotionally invested in this stupid game. But we have to try.

I want to play them ALLLLL!!! I'm bringing a Legacy deck and 4 cEDH decks. I need to borrow someone's modern deck. I want to play magic until my eyeballs bleed. This event is going to be INSANE.
