Another day and another glorious space in which to practise: this time in Clonard Monastery, Belfast, where I’ll be giving the Northern Ireland Premiere of Skempton’s 50 Preludes and Fugues for Organ, Book 1 (ie numbers 1-25) on Saturday 4th February at 2.00pm (until 3.00pm).

Congratulations to George Charman, our Junior Organ Scholar, who played superbly at our morning Eucharist today. Sensitive accompaniment of the choir anthem, confident hymn playing and some highly polished Buxtehude as the final voluntary. Well done George!
