Ornament and texture is slowly making its way back into London architecture. This is a new building on Lambeth Road next to the createstreets office and it’s miles better than what was average 10 years ago, complete with concave arched ground floor.
I'm long overdue in saying thanks to theoldbuilding for showing me and council officers around Stamford. The town is as beautiful as it looks on his social media, albeit quiet car heavy in places. It's little surprise Stamford was England's first Conservation Area in 1967.
