Today’s adventure took me to the Isle of Arran! ☀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I had the pleasure of sailing over on CalMac’s Glen Sannox and returning aboard the Alfred! 😍🛳️ Enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Little Rock Café, with stunning views to match! 🍽️😋

My first time on a Boeing 737-900ER and it’s still in Continental livery too! 😍 I’m flying to Newark with United onboard UA1643 this afternoon! ✈️🇺🇸 Some weather en-route too which may make the flight interesting! 😅

Unfortunately we didn’t get very far on our original flight and had to return to gate due to issues in New York! 😅 We’ve been very lucky and rebooked and are now flying to Washington DC onboard the Boeing 737-900ER! ✈️🇺🇸 It’s then Edinburgh bound from Washington with the 757! ☺️

Scotland does not disappoint! 😍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 These were the stunning views above Inverclyde yesterday morning from United Airlines UA978 as we began our approach into Edinburgh from Washington! ✈️🇺🇸 The crew onboard this flight were absolutely incredible! ✨⭐️

NASA visits Prestwick Airport this afternoon! 🚀🪐 N95NA which is a Gulfstream V has just landed from Karaganda, Kazakhstan carrying Don Pettit after 220 days in space! 🛰️🧑🏼‍🚀 The aircraft will take off for Houston, Texas in around one hour after refuelling! 😃🇺🇸

26 countries, 148 flights, 145,968 miles and 379hrs of flying later, my red passport has seen its last stamp after travelling around the world 6 times! 🥲✈️ It’s time to apply for a “blooo” passport! 😅🛂

Opportunities to pose with a Boeing 737-800 don’t come around often! 😅 Snapped a quick photo with EI-DHR at Dublin this afternoon before it took us to Glasgow on FR276! ✈️🇮🇪 Boarding began a relaxed 40 minutes before departure making for a super smooth and stress-free flight! 😍

People watching at Glasgow Queen Street! 🚉 There’s something calming about sitting still as the city flows around you… footsteps, voices, moments passing like trains you’re not meant to catch! ☺️

🚉 Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome passengers back to the East Kilbride line following major upgrades to the route. We visited the newly enhanced Hairmyres station, which now features gateline staff, improved accessibility for all passengers, and expanded car parking

I’m heading on a 24-hour adventure, starting with Glasgow Central to Newcastle along the East Coast Main Line with CrossCountry onboard the Voyager! 🛤️😍 Treated myself to a wee 1st Class upgrade with Seatfrog! 🎉💺 Looking forward to a smooth and exciting journey ahead! 🌟🙌

🚉 I’ve made it to Newcastle, which means it’s time for the next part of the journey! 😄 ➡️ Heading to Sunderland on the Metro! 🟡⚫ 🚆 Took a quick ride on one of their shiny new trains 🤩 before changing at Gateshead Stadium for a Sunderland-bound service! 🔄

It’s time to head to York! 🏰 I’m travelling with Grand Central on a Class 180 in First Class for this part of the journey. ✨ I’ve only taken this route once before back when the legendary HSTs operated it, so I’m really looking forward to the experience! 😄 Let’s go! 🚂

We didn’t expect to spend 10 hours in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport today after our flight to Glasgow was cancelled! 😅✈️ By the time we were finally rebooked on a flight home this evening, we were starting to feel like Tom Hanks in The Terminal! 😂🇫🇷

Off to Derby with UK Railtours this morning for The Greatest Gathering, a huge celebration of 200 years of rail at Alstom’s Litchurch Lane Works! 🚂🎉 Looking forward to seeing some classic and modern trains up close, including some real icons of the railway! 😃🛤️

Just wrapped up a fantastic day at The Greatest Gathering in Derby with an amazing range of trains and buses, great vibes, and a really well-run event 🚂 Now heading back to London Paddington with UK Railtours on a scenic route via Milton Keynes and Oxford! 😊
