Last week the Geography team took Y7 students on a field trip to Exmoor National Park. We completed obs of the medieval town, traffic surveys& environment obs on the beacon in glorious sunshine! The students were responsible, confident & showed curiosity throughout the day! #TheHaygroveWay

Wonderful evening watching K do her Y6 leavers play, she knew every word of every song and wasn’t afraid to sing loud& proud! L in Y5 did a sterling job supporting Troy Story. Thank you to the staff Berrow Primary Church Academy that make this stuff possible, I love these moments for our kids🩵

Today my little girl had her prom. Her grandparents, sibs/steps, dad, stepdad & I got together to share a moment that just 3 years ago was unimaginable and in no small part her journey was transformed by moving to The King Alfred School an Academy in Y9. 🙏🏼 I’m so proud of her. 🩵

Awful traffic today but just made it to school in time to look at L’s work. I could say her all work is improved but in Y5 something has clicked (collective parental suspicion it’s down to the teacher) and L now loves school so her enthusiasm is what I most enjoyed today! 🩵
