DPS confirms more than 20 arrests at UT Austin today.

'DPS responded to the UT campus in Austin today at the request of the University and at the direction of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, in order to prevent any unlawful assembly and to support UT Police in maintaining the peace'

Law enforcement had dispersed the crowds and they left South Lawn at UT Austin and continued chanting around the corner. Now that the lawn has cleared, protestors are coming back.

Don’t have the video of it handy on my phone, but several Jewish counter-protestors I spoke to said they have not felt threatened or unsafe throughout the day.

They also expressed gratitude toward UT Austin leaders and Gov. Greg Abbott for showing public support of Israel.
