even amongst lost fans jack's character is so underrated imo. he has one of the best written and best executed character arcs of all time

Lost is a blueprint of character writing. Jack, Sawyer, Charlie, Sun, Jin, Kate, Locke, Ben, - you may like or dislike them individually, but these character archs are one of a kind, thought through and always hitting you right in your guts.
