Happy School Library Month! Hot off the press from the Legislative and Advocacy Committees is this new VAASL “What is a School Librarian” one pager. We encourage you to make plans to share this with your stakeholders during the month of April.

When students return in the fall, many will not have read a book in over a year. They should be welcomed back into classrooms stocked with interesting books. They do not need to start the year reading Hamlet; instead, begin with independent reading (choice!) and then book clubs.
