I wasn’t able to celebrate HIGH LINE BREWING’s three-year anniversary in person, so I am celebrating on my own with a bottle of their barrel-aged Imperial Saison. Congratulations, guys! Here’s to many more!

I stopped in at Annex Ale Project for some Force Majeure and a taste of Lil’ Empire Burger 🍔, which is the best pairing since Brandy and Monica went all out on ‘The Boy is Mine.’

My heart is still broken about what happened in Nova Scotia. I feel like a part of my home has been stolen. Tonight I am lucky enough to share a bottle of Tatamagouche Brewing and @modernsteakca’s Sunday Dinner my AB family, with all proceeds allotted to support the victims.

I can’t think of a more fitting beer to celebrate the first look at Bill & Ted 3 than Wyld Stallyon, a wild IPA from Dog Island Brewing 🍻. A floral, hoppy beer that makes me want to play air guitar. Be excellent to each other.

A fitting pairing tonight: Situation Brewing Co’s Page Turner IPA and @scottlmessenger’s Tapping the West, an #abbeer page turner. The levity of the prose cuts the bitterness of the IPA nicely, which makes for a very good evening.

Four years ago I married @kaitycritchley and I’ve never been more proud of anything in my life. To celebrate the occasion we’re cracking Year 4, a Belgian quad from Blindman Brewing, which is a spectacular way to toast to four stellar years.

It’s pretty easy to be physically distant from others when this is the taproom you’re in. Beautiful scenery and better company at #thebeerfarmers in Pemberton this afternoon.

I’m savouring the last few days of vacation with The Establishment Brewing Company and Storm Mountain Lodge. Nectarine Dream from Establishment Brewing is a tart, effervescent beer that pairs well with the game burger from Storm Mountain Lodge. If I have to say goodbye to summer, this is a superb way to go.

With everything that’s been going on, I haven’t been able to check out #bittersisters until today. The Second Chance IPA is solid and pairs well with the Korean BBQ wings, but the real star is the waffle finger. There is nothing that can’t be fixed with waffle fingers.

I am continuing to try out new establishments that the lockdown prevented me from visiting. Today it’s #twopillars, a small brewery offering a selection of Belgian beer where the Golden Strong and Wit are standouts. Check them out. Drink the beer. Wear a mask. Wash your hands.
