When did Christmas Tree Festivals in Church become a thing? What are they about? I like a Christmas tree but lots close together to me are tacky. I think some cathedrals have them.

It would be good to see CofE bishops and clergy leading carol singing / services in public places, not just in their buildings. Be missional! I know some do, but only some. 'Pop up' carol services in our towns would be welcome, and Bishops could join them and be seen.
