David Crayton The Indy Poet My grandfather was in the Navy taking part in the Dunkirk rescue. He had friends in the 51st and repeatedly asked evacuees if the 51st were there or if they had any news. Eventually he heard the truth. Their sacrifice was one of the few things about the war he talked about.
