I don't want to push this into cult territory with how I talk about him, but Tanner McKee has become one of my favorite QBs to watch on film just based on how concise he is as a processor and how he uses pre-snap to streamline post-snap. Beyond that, he also eliminates and

Someone is going to bring him in and give him a chance to compete for the QB1 job. His film is just way too clean to not get that chance.

This is a textbook Go ball. Perfectly timed Gun 3 + Hitch footwork with vision backside on the drop to hold the post defender, then just a perfect arc and placement. Verticals are all about timing and placement.

Tanner McKee executing Flow (4-strong) Spacing to perfection. Works the backside individual route against a clean alley as he should. This isn't sexy, but it's consistently clean processing and pocket work play in & play out. It's a coach's dream.

McKee finding his way out of the pocket after the initial pressure and hitting the live route in a 3-level vertical against QQH (basically Box frontside due to the stack). It's not exactly this concept, but the intent is the same. He has a really good feel for pre-snap structure

The Bengals run what I call a Combo game (T-E game to the 3T, E-T game to the Nose) with Tampa behind it and the OL can't quite sort it out in time for McKee to high/low the CB. The concept is essentially the same as what I call Oriole (Falcon + Ole).
