Check out Conor McCabe's video on LinkedIn (shorturl.at/bhqV9) about the great interdisciplinary work that is conducted at the CLEAR Center CA&ES, UC Davis under the leadership of Prof Mitloehner (aka Frank Mitloehner) to curb enteric methane.
Matthias Hess is excited to be part of the solution by improving our understanding of the microbial processes that drive rumen function and by identifying advanced ways to alter these microbial processes towards less methane and healthier animals.
I am very excited about a new project w. colleagues in Australia. We will develop new strategies to boost cattle health and productivity by reducing enteric methane production. A press release by the AUS Govnmt provides a great summary of our project. statements.qld.gov.au/statements/100…
Exciting news: the first manuscript from our collaboration w/ Spencer Diamond at Institute for Geographic Information Science and our project to reduce enteric methane sponsored by The Audacious Project is now available on BioRvix: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Check out this video that explains the importance and some details of the work that is currently underway at the Matthias Hess and the Lab of Ermias Kebreab at UC Davis and the Institute for Geographic Information Science at UC Berkeley to reduce methane emissions from cattle. ow.ly/VKQ050SlatZ
Check out this article in the The Washington Post about our work in Matthias Hess and Ermias Kebreab Lab at CA&ES, UC Davis in collaboration with Jennifer Doudna Spencer Diamond Jill Banfield and others at Institute for Geographic Information Science to reduce enteric methane by editing the rumen microbiome.
