Doing a bit of an FPS thing in Unreal. Got Dashing, Running, Walljumping, and crouching for movement. Weapons: Semi-auto (Blue, click fire). Auto (Green, hold). Shotgun (Red). Each with their own recoil/spread. #unrealengine #UE4 #gamedev

Trying some #unity3d stuff again... Each "chunk" is 16x16x16 blocks, with each column containing 3 chunks (stacked vertically), in a (currently) 2x2 columns world. Fake perlin worm for caves. Got a error in the block render between chunks, but happy with results so far.

Going to try to do this more regular, got the rendering error between chunks sorted, removed the rendering of sides that are unnecessary (i.e places that don't have "air" blocks or any blocks at all). Next up: Height map and overall optimizations. #untiy3d #Minecraft
