The most important lesson I've learned in the last year: Burnout isn't just the result of too much work. It's the TYPE of work. And, more specifically, your emotional connection to it. Burnout comes from feeling like no matter how much you do, it will never be enough.

I highly recommend the Pomodoro method: 25 minutes of work followed by a 5 week break.

Academic papers are our most valuable knowledge, yet locked behind paywalls and controlled by large editorials that see this knowledge as a business, not an advancement. It's about time for open-access to everyone in the world.
