Today, the HM of @FMHDSD, Sadiya Umar Farouq CON and I attended the official handing over ceremony of the Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (N-CARES) Project Vehicles to the State CARES Coordinators.

The vehicles are expected to aid the State CARES Coordinators in effectively performing their facilitatory responsibilities before the final take-off of the N-CARES programme in June 2021.

I urged them to deploy their wealth of experience and expertise in undertaking their assignments and to ensure the successful take-off and implementation of the N-CARES programme at the sub-national levels.

HM Sadiya Umar Farouq CON on behalf of the President and the people of Nigeria, appreciates the #WorldBank for the wonderful gesture of coming to the aid of the poor and vulnerable people of Nigeria and businesses that were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
