Looking forward to delivering round 2 of The Capacity & Ability to Supervise & Protect-Risk training in sunny Brisbane with multi-disciplinary professionals from across a range of organisations in Queensland in attendance. Orlaith McGibbon Marcella Leonard
Always grateful for the amazing projects I get to visit - the work of SECASA , Melbourne with children and their families re HSB, Sexual Assault/ Family Violence is so integrative and pleased to share how The Capacity & Ability to Supervise & Protect-Risk and THE AIM PROJECT models will add to their holistic approach
Delighted to have collaborated with SASS in delivering THE AIM PROJECT assessment training to a range of HSB services across Tasmania. Very impressed by the quality of work, innovative practice and professionalism of practice.
Day 2 of The Capacity & Ability to Supervise & Protect-Risk training in Launceston, Tasmania focusing on assessing protectiveness in families impacted by inter-sibling HSB. Videoed interviews allow participants to experience how the model is used to understand each family’s needs & the responses required.
So important for effective assessment of HSB that practitioners understand the family from which the young person comes from and their ability to protect and supervise . The Capacity & Ability to Supervise & Protect-Risk is an effective protective assessment framework which integrates in with AIM assessments
Day 2 here in Hobart and the practitioner feedback on the training videos has been so positive to bring the case work into the room and have real discussions on how to implement the The Capacity & Ability to Supervise & Protect-Risk assessment in practice Gareth McGibbon Orlaith McGibbon
