Crazy how many people predicted Cardiff to be around 12th-14th at the start of the season yet now it’s happening aren’t happy. We had a good start with a fully fit squad, since the lack of depth is catching up and so is the lack of signings.

Sadly I do think think we really pushed the boat out to try and get Ilic, hope I’m wrong but can’t see us turning round and splashing that on another player, think Ilic might have been one they felt was worth taking that risk on.

Bulut going seems right, but look at the realistic out come, what manager do Cardiff get on a 3 month contract? Most likely a Sabri type manager. paying double the wages after paying Bulut off for a sideways/downgrade move. It’s what people want now but you will be disappointed.

Just goes to show reacting out of anger and sacking a manager isn’t always the right call, massive win, 3rd derby win of the season and back in 11th for the time being. Bulut has to have until the end of the season no matter what.

Have to ask this question… Which is more important results or style of play? Bulut has got results but doesn’t seem to have won most Cardiff fans over with his style of play.

16 points clear from relegation 8 points from Play offs A big away win against a side who’ve won 4 on the bounce (one against a prem side) System and style will come but Bulut can get results from this side. He has to be given a chance to progress next season.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Isaak Davies? Done well out on loan in admittedly a worse league but shining against some big opponents. IMO, ease him in, give him a good amount of starts and a proper chance. Wouldn’t say he’s a guaranteed starter yet though. Thoughts?

Understand the club have been burnt by long term contracts before, but we can’t continue to offer everyone one year deals, it massively narrows the pool of good managers you can get, sets yourself up for failure from the off and makes it almost impossible to build for the future.
