Due to the threat of the Corona Virus we have closed The Annexe for the foreseeable future.

We will reopen when Tier 2 begins on Wednesday.

After nearly 13 years, today is the last day of The Annexe. We permanently close at 1pm.

Monday is May Day and we will be open from 10:00 till 16:00

Decorating week continues… only twice a year, but feels like it comes round more often than every 6 months…

The Annexe is 5 years old today. Lots of bunting, balloons and birthday cake today.

We've had a busy week celebrating our 5th Birthday. Today is your last chance to enjoy a free slice of birthday cake with your coffee.

Once again we've been called and asked to take an advert in the police diary. We politely refused. Just Googled it and yes, it's a scam.

Mexican Week has been great fun. We will have to do it again sometime.

It's turning into energy efficiency week. We are trialling LED lightbulbs and adding some insulation to the coffee machine.

We've just made a pot of our Spiced Christmas Tea. It is good with milk and superb without.

A customer has just told us how exciting it was that we were on @bbcyork Finders Keepers. She's a big fan of the show.

Just had a lunch customer in who heard us on Finders Keepers. Shame Chris Sharp had left early.

It's been a very busy couple of days which has made it a nice end to 2014. We reopen on Jan 5th. Have a Happy Christmas and a Good New Year.

Brass Castle Brewery's "Annexation" Russian Imperial Stout is very very good. (We're at York Beer Festival, which is always good.)
