Partnerships are key for achieving disarmament goals. I had the pleasure to meet Amb. Privitelli of GICHD. We discussed ODA & @GICHD's joint initiative The Ammunition Management Advisory Team (AMAT) - a vital mechanism for practical, authoritative & effective ammunition management assistance.

This week, we’re in the Republic of Moldova for roundtables with national and international stakeholders, discussing national plans to strengthen through-life management of small arms, light weapons, and conventional #ammunition.

In November, AMAT was in Poland with international partners for “Enhancing Education and Training in Ammunition Safety Management in 🇺🇦” workshop supported by the Political-Military Affairs, US Dept of State. Co-organized by @Bundeswehr and @GICHD, the workshop focused on post-conflict immediate risk reduction.
