Season 2 was a marked improvement and I would prefer more now.

All the new movies do is just consolidate and distill what is already there in the foundation.

It is like a monkey’s paw that Velma finally gets somewhat decent with Season 2 and then we are set back a hundred steps with Greg Berlanti trash.

Like a more horror crime comedy adaptation.

I have to say, I’ve gotten really bored of Hulk outs being portrayed as body horror.

Glad that Radio Silence was able to make this after how crappy their Scream tenure was. They’ve still got it. Although I think the finale is a huge cop-out, it’s a fun vampire flick that definitely riffs on the same cultural vibe of other horror-comedies.
