Hospital staff: “The patient bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible.” Me, a wheelchair user: “So where do I go to use the bathroom?” Hospital staff: “Off the unit, there are public bathrooms that have wheelchair access.” The inaccessibility of hospitals is striking.

I wasted so damn many years giving them the benefit of the doubt. Never ever again will I try to see someone for what they aren’t.

if you become a step-parent to a kid who already has two active and involved parents, consider taking on less of a “parenting” role and more of an “extra adult who loves me and I don’t need to worry about pleasing” role.

Sometimes I love being underestimated because I'm a very petite woman and a highly empathic auDHDer. I love to see the shock on their face and in their voice when I start matching their energy after they cross me for the last time and keep pushing.

Abusers don't deserve kindness or empathy, and I will always find it hilarious when they try to project and attack you on some petty, superficial shit, like looks, because that's all they have, only to get verbally destroyed and dragged with the truth in return.

Then they always have the nerve to turn around and accuse you of being the cruel, heartless one and act like they didn't do a damn thing wrong. If you think I'm being cruel to you, reevaluate your fucking life cause I'm not the kind of person to ever "bully" an innocent victim.

I'm so done being silent about all the shit I've had to deal with throughout my life. My only wish is that I'd been more diligent about collecting screenshots sooner, because I can tell my stories, but I know they have a greater impact when you can show examples to support it.

You know whats crazy, a narcissist that claims to be a witch, who convinces her "best friend" she can actually do magic. So the friend goes back to being taken advantage of by the narcissist because "she's scared, she feels like she hexed her."

If you believe in magic and you thought someone had cursed you, wouldn't it be more logical to put distance between the two of you rather than going back to be futher manipulated, magically or otherwise?

Or even local meet ups, this is a great idea either way.
