The Prospect of Whitby pub (a slightly unusual name in the East End as itโ€™s miles from that view in Yorkshire) gained its slightly strange moniker after a coal carrying vessel of that name which always used to moor beside the pub - the-east-end.co.uk #eastend #pubs
