As #BlackHistoryMonth comes to a close, we're so excited about these mini-research projects! 🙌🙌🏾 Our students built important research, note-taking, and summarization skills while also deepening their knowledge of influential Black Americans (in history & present-day)!

After a mini-unit on plants, we "planted" our own! 🌱 In this craftivity, students explored the different names of leaves and constructed them with stickers and wire! It was an engaging, hands-on project that our Wednesday "Slice" loved! #kiwico #paperplants #donnellydailyapple

Here's what we've been up to in our Thursday "Slice" class! ✈️ Our STEM unit has been all about air resistance and understanding what factors can increase or decrease it! So, we of course had to do a hands-on lab with paper airplanes! ✨
