The Gespe'gewa'gi Institute of Natural Understanding (GINU) would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in the World Ocean Day shoreline cleanup in Ugpi'ganjig yesterday. We had 25 volunteers who collected 20 bags of garbage from the shoreline. (Charlene)

GINU installed our real-time water temperature monitoring stations along the Restigouche and Matapedia Rivers. These stations will relay air and water temperatures every thirty minutes to our website. Visit our website at ginu.co to get updates from our stations.

At 10 am, the Gespe'gewa'gi Institute of Natural Understanding (GINU) will be conducting droning on Thursday, October 4th. The droning will be taking place near the Bon Ami rocks in Dalhousie. This work is part of our lump fish project as we map out fish habitat.
