Temple of Flora by Robert John Thornton (1768-1837) is considered one of the greatest flower books ever. It is part of the GCA’s Rare Book Collection, housed at the New York Botanical Garden’s Mertz Library and can be viewed online thanks to the Biodiversity Heritage Library.

“Patriotism, Gallantry, Devotion” is engraved on the medallion in Princeton’s All Wars Memorial. The Garden Club of Princeton has tended the surrounding garden since its installation in 1925 and their dedication was recognized by the GCA with a Zone Historic Preservation Award.
